Description
Our hotmix is a combination of hard and slow burning wood such as gum, and soft fast burning wood such as pine (majority pine). It may also contain oak, macrocarpa, willow, black wattle and poplar. It is our most common wood as it provides fast starting and long burning firewood.
Kiln dried wood is our superior product as it has been been dried in our kiln at 120 degrees for up to 72 hours, similar to a oven on fan bake – it dries the wood down to around 20% moisture.
