Description
Douglas Fir is a medium density softwood, easier to ignite than gum and longer burning than pine – it is also water resistant meaning it doesn’t soak up water like pine. It is easy to split (great for kindling) but it also tends to spark and pop – for this reason it is not recommended for use in an open fire. Sold by the cubic meter.
Please note – This wood is seasoned, and kept under cover – but is not kiln dried. This has been processed from packets of milled timber and is untreated.
Limited stock – Less than 40 cube available*
